Artist Statement

I'm an Artist, a Crafter, a Poet, an Accountant and a Web Designer.  I have inborn talent in Arts and love for Crafts.  My ingenuity and creative skills helped me to create magnificent master pieces.  Sometimes I used improvised materials and household resources for some of my projects.

We have our own uniqueness.  Me, as an artist with my personal experience in life, my struggles and hardships brought me to express my feelings and outlook through my arts and my poems.  I believe each of us was created with our own mission in like. I believe that we walk on our own destiny.  As I expressed in one of my poems, "God's Dream-God's dream for me will always be forever and forever I will always be a dreamer of God's Dream

Problem is not the end of everything. It is just the beginning of something new, of a nice thing." J.O.Y.'s artwork is an expression of her struggle and frustration and about her goals and dreams. J.O.Y.'s work is of mixed media; she creates paper sculpture made from washi paper, uses computer art for the face, and acrylic and metallic paint for the details. In addition to creating visual art, she is also a poet.
